I wrote an album called 'The Animal', which comes out next month.
So, reviews and interviews and that kind of thing have begun to appear.
And something that is really annoying me, is the constant mention of it being a slow album - like I made some kind of mistake, like I accidentally mixed out the synth lines and distorted guitars, like I should maybe aspire next time to make something a little more like The Klaxons, Kings of Leon or Foals.

  1. It’s good to know what you think. But, dear Richard, don't worry for what the journalists could say. It’s their job…
The album goes out on September 21st and at the end what really matters is what think those who really listen to your music and enjoy it.
I suppose that the reviews must be troublesome for you, overcoat for that they hope that you're one more of the heap. You must be you itself regardless and if this is what makes you happy, Go ahead! Because I can assure you that you go for good way :D

Ps: Have you already The Animal's artwork? I only have seen the artwork of the single “True Love Will Find You in the End ".
Ps2: I expect not to have committed very serious mistakes. I don’t know English (just a little) and I help myself with a translator online :P

  2. Fuck them. You have nothing to worry about - don't let them think you have.
